Crysta Luting Product Description
Crysta Luting is a radiopaque, self-curing, translucent particle glass ionomer luting material designed for excellent tooth adhesion, high fluoride release, and optimal flowability. This versatile material is suitable for a wide range of clinical applications. It is available as a powder and liquid kit in a universal light yellow shade.

Crysta Luting Intended Purpose/Use
Crysta Luting is intended for:
- Cementation of indirect restorations
- Attachment of orthodontic bands
Crysta Luting Indications for Use
- Cementation of metal-based inlays, onlays, crowns, and bridges.
- Cementation of high-strength (Zirconia-based) all-ceramic crowns and bridges.
- Cementation of stainless steel crowns.
- Attachment of metal orthodontic bands.
Crysta Luting Instructions for Use
A. Tooth Preparation:
- Prepare the tooth as usual.
- Clean the prepared teeth with pumice and water.
- Rinse thoroughly, then gently blot with a cotton pellet or blow lightly with oil-free air.
Do not desiccate the surface; it should appear moist (glistering).
B. Restoration Preparation:
Ensure the restoration is pretreated and handled per the manufacturer's instructions.
C. Powder and Liquid Dispensing:
- Use a standard powder-to-liquid ratio of 0.19/0.12 (1 level scoop of powder to 2 drops of liquid).
- Tap the powder bottle lightly to dispense accurately. Do not shake or invert.
- Hold the liquid bottle vertically and squeeze gently. Close the bottle immediately after use.
D. Mixing:
- Dispense powder and liquid onto a mixing pad.
- Add all the powder to the liquid and mix rapidly for 45–60 seconds.
- For larger quantities, divide the powder into two parts, mixing the first portion with all the liquid for 15 seconds, then incorporating the second portion for an additional 45 seconds.
E. Application:
Apply the mixed material within 1 minute to the surfaces using a micro applicator. Do not air blow.
F. Cementation:
- Coat the restoration's internal surface with sufficient cement and seat immediately.
- Maintain moderate pressure.
- Remove excess cement when it feels rubbery.
- Begin finishing 4 minutes 30 seconds after seating the restoration.
Crysta Luting Warnings:
- Ensure no isolating agents or substances remain on the surface, as they may affect adhesion.
- Avoid prolonged or repeated skin and eye contact. If irritation or an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use and seek medical attention.
- If contact with eyes occurs, rinse immediately with water and consult a physician.
Crysta Luting Precautions:
- Remove accidental contact with oral tissue or skin using alcohol-soaked cotton, then rinse with water.
- Flush eyes immediately with water if contact occurs and seek medical attention.
- Do not mix Crysta Luting components with other glass ionomer cement materials.
- This product is not indicated for filling or core buildup.
Crysta Luting Contraindications:
- Do not use if the patient has known allergies to the ingredients.
- Avoid application near or directly onto exposed pulp areas.
Crysta Luting Storage Conditions:
- Store between 10°C (50°F) and 24°C (75°F).
- Keep away from moisture. Close the cap securely after each use.
- Shelf life is not affected if stored in a cool, dry place after opening.
Crysta Luting Shelf Life:
- 3 years from the manufacturing date.
